FEDERAL STUDENT AID
Federal Student Aid for College or Career School - The U.S. Department of Education provides grants, loans, and work-study opportunities to eligible students attending participating colleges or career schools. The Department is the source of nearly 70 percent of all student aid awarded in the U.S. each year. The vast majority of the Department's aid is not based on academic merit. The Bangor, Pa. Public Library welcomes you to our web site. The library contains over 30,000 volumes including reference works, videos, and books on tape, CD-ROMs, Pennsylvania historical collection, and books for all ages. We also have magazines, microfilm, Internet access, and cemetery records.
We also have the Bangor Daily News from 1917 to 1998 and the Homefront magazine. Both are available on microfilm and are unique to this library. Enjoy your visit and if you have comments feel free to contact us...
